Internal 3.5-inch Floppy Drive for Atari

Easily replace the internal floppy drive in your Atari.

Based on a PC floppy drive modified to work with Atari computers. It no longer works on a PC.

Replace a faulty or worn internal drive while maintaining a neat installation.

Installation without cutting the case

No cutting of your Atari plastic case is required.

The drive has its own eject button. A front panel piece completes the installation at the Atari case opening.

The front panel can be secured with:

• Double-sided tape
• Contact adhesive

Connection depends on the model

Atari 520 / 1040 STF, STE and Mega ST

On these models, the data connector needs to be reversed.

1. Disconnect the data ribbon cable.
2. Rotate the ribbon cable connector by 180°.
3. Reconnect the ribbon cable to the drive.

This is a simple procedure and requires no modification to the computer.

Mega STE / TT

No ribbon cable modification is needed. Simply connect the drive normally.
