Workbench 3.1 – Cloanto Licensed 6-Disk Set

Amiga OS 3.1 disk set (6 floppy disks) by Cloanto.

Workbench 3.1 remains faithful to the appearance and feature set of the last Commodore/Amiga Workbench release.

Compatible with Amiga models equipped with a floppy drive and Kickstart ROM 3.0/3.1.

The Workbench 3.1 disk set contains:

• Install (bootable)
• Workbench (bootable)
• Storage
• Locale
• Extras
• Fonts

The disks can be used on their own to boot and run the system, or to create a new hard drive, CompactFlash or SD installation.

Improvements include installation of workbench.library, Installer v43.3 on 68000/68010 processors or v44.10 on 68020+ processors, and FastFileSystem v45.9.

Balancing preservation, restoration and innovation, this release includes several Cloanto updates over the final Commodore/Escom version:

• Updated Version command (Y2K patch).
• Added workbench.library for A4000T 3.1 and 3.X ROMs.
• Updated startup sequence with conditional SetPatch for 3.X ROMs.
• MultiView stack increased to 32768.
• Installation script improvements.
• Updated Installer (43.3 or 44.10, depending on the processor) and FastFileSystem 45.9 for larger disks.
• Installer is now included in the system installation, in the Utilities directory.
• Dates preserved, with file attributes and comments restored compared with the ESCOM and Village Tronic distribution.

Supplied with a unique Cloanto licence number for registration on their website.
